WINE TASTING NOTES:

Bridge pa Louis Syrah 2005, New Zealand
Louis Syrah 2005 displays the classic Bridge Pa Vineyard aromas of perfumed violet and black fruit. The palate is full bodied and smooth featuring berries, black cracked pepper and an earthy undertone. Extended barrel aging in American oak barriques has contributed to a beautifully balanced and elegantly structured wine that will continue to develop in the bottle long after its release.

Bridge Pa – Zillah Merlot 2006, New Zealand
Zillah Merlot 2006 displays a breadth of aromas including rich fruit and spice, and the unmistakable Bridge Pa Vineyard perfume. The long complex palate is full bodied, smooth and intense with berry and black plum combining with spicy oak and an intriguing earthiness. A beautifully balanced multi layered wine supported by ripe tannins and rounded acidity; Zillah Merlot 2006 is a true expression of the Bridge Pa terrier.

Hawke's Bay Pinot Noir 2005, New Zealand
Aromas of ripe fruit together with the notes of toasted oak introduce a tightly structured Pinot Noir with loads of spicy, chocolate flavours opening up to rich cherry and plum. A stunning, complex wine, which has the tannin structure and depth of fruit flavours to mature gracefully.

Hawke's Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2006, New Zealand
A clear light gold colour tinged with green, this wine has intense gooseberry aromas with a hint of passionfruit and lime. Gooseberry & passionfruit also dominate the flavour profile with underlying citrus flavours adding complexity and length. This Sauvignon Blanc has a rich full mid palate and a superb acid balance.
