remembering prague
Description
The inspiration behind this work is a tiny Byzantium room tucked into a Baroque Cathedral in Prague, Czech.
The working process of (recreating geological structure) has evolved as a response to this land Aotearoa with its friable geology, particular light and primeval beauty.
Although it was not a specific intention to make !??remembering Prague!?? when the work came from the Kiln and into the sunlight I realised the incredible memory of twenty years had found a way through and given itself form .
